Author Don Hicks
Don Hicks began hunting with his grandfather when he was 5 years old. The time in the field with his grandfather ignited a lifetime passion for the outdoors and the pursuit of wild game.
Don now has over 50 years of experience chasing wildgame with his rifle,
shotgun, muzzle loader, and bow. Don has learned over the years a successful hunt does not always end with a trophy on the wall, but rather a "Real Moment of Truth" in the heart revealed by His creator Almighty God.
Along with being an avid hunter, Don has been an evangelist and pastor for many years.
Don is also the creator and voice of the weekly radio broadcast, “Treasure in the Field.” Don recently has also been named the National Director of Prayer for COFA (Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America).
Don makes his home in Campbellsburg, Indiana with his wife Doris.
